Embedded Images (located in a network share)

Any advice as to whether or not the following scenario is possible would be most appreciated.

I'm looking to display a table containing multiple fields (done) as well as an image.

The image associated with a given record is pathed within the table field with the actual image stored on network share (//SERVER/path/imagename.jpg)

Having the image display in the table cell is the first goal, and from what I have read is achievable.  There do seem to be some hurdles with the network share component.

The final goal, however, is to have the image become embedded in the cell when the table data is exported to a spreadsheet.  This is the part that I'm seeking advice on.

Is it possible to have an actual copy of the image exported in the cell along with the other data?

Hi Glenn,

Yes this is possible with the Climber Cards extension. You can download it here. Not 100% sure if the export works, but you can give it a try.

Same problem here!

I come from QlikView and it was quite straightforward (just check the dimension as image and that's it) but Sense seems to need a http protocol. 

Uploading images in the content library is not a solution for me. The catalog is really large and it's always been updated.

I've tried Climber extension but it doesn't seem to work with network files. It does with http URLs.

Did you find any solution?
