I need help me with the function ''Above'', what is your role? when do you use it?. Please, you can help me with definition?

above(), same like below()/top()/bottom(), can be very useful to cross-reference your rows in a straight-table/pivot-table expression and sometimes a more simpler alternative to a very complex set analysis. However, at the same time you are very dependend on your dimensions in the respective chart. If rows are reduced e.g. by making a selection in the data model, then above() might return a completely different result than originally intended.
