Hi Qlik. I have tried to install Qlik Sense Desktop but the install keeps failing. I have downloaded the installer again. Ran it as Admin, still fails to install. I can't upload the install log file as this site says it's too large. On Windows 10 x64 latest update. Any help on how to fix this?
That's awesome, thank you!!! Will see if we can install this under the machine's Admin account and that should hopefully fix this. Yes, my surname does contain a special character between d'O
Thank you!
remove existing failed installations. Restart your system and reinstall. Qliksense desktop only works on Windows OS
Thank you for trying Sateesh but that did not work. I am indeed on Win 10 x64 latest update.
Hello Gabriel,
if you zip all the log files named:
Qlik_Sense_Desktop_June_2019* in %temp% and attach that file, we might see why it fails.
best regards
Sebastian
Thanks Sebastian. I have zipped the files and uploaded them successfully, thanks for helping!

the problem is that your user name it seems it contains a ' character which does not work perfect with the installation scope. You can try to install it with a different local user e.g. "test" and see if it runs through.

Sebastian, thanks a mill! Working perfect now 🙂 Dont know how you spotted such as small character ' that caused the problem but thank you very much 🙂 Kudos to you!
