Filter using Button

Hello Genius,

I have a table with field name bucket having values(Red,Amber and Green). I have created three button with Red, Amber and Green name. I do not want to use Filter option

I am trying to filter the row having values as per button. So if I click Green table should shows all the rows having value Green in Bucket field.

I Added the button and selected action-"Selection in Field" and then selected the field name and the value. But it does not work.

Please provide your help.

Is that the vizlib button? It doesn't seem to work for me either.

However, the native qlik button worked fine:

Can you use the native qlik button?

Ah okay! Thank you for the clarification.

I got it to work with the vizlib button by doing the following:

  1. Create the vizlib button
  2. Add the action for "Selection in field"
  3. Without opening the expression editor, type "bucket" in the Field box
  4. Without opening the expression editor, type "Green" in the Field Value box

I did what was stated in this vizlib support question: https://community.vizlib.com/support/discussions/topics/35000018768

Let me know if I can clarify anything.

Yes dear, I am trying to use button from vizib library not the Native.  It works fine for me as well in Native library.

Just looking for some expert who can resolve this puzzle.
