How to create a input field in qliksense dashboard report

Hi,

In our data we have a field '[Period_End_Date]'.

It’s a filter based on existing values. Can we create it as an input field? We need to be able to put last day of the month as the input value – if no contract ends on last day of the month it’s not possible.

I don't understand why you think you need an input field. What are you trying to do?

[Period end date] field, needs to be date that has been provided by user.
So user has requested if it's possible to feed / filter the data in front end by themselves.

Why can't you automatically fill in the last day of the month in the load script if there's no value in the field? Why does it have to be a user that does that?
