We have a following requirement.
we are having 40 Tables and we are loading all these 40 tables and it's fields. My requirement is to create a Ad-hoc Report before that we need to create two dimensions
1. Filename(where file name of each file among 40 tables)
for ex: when the user clicks on filename filter it have to show all the filenames in the filter and it should be always one select
2. Fields (Fields of every Table)
For Example: if the user select Employee table in the previous filter then all the fields of Employee table should be visible if there are 20 fields in this table then all the 20 should visible
User can able to select required fields among these 20 fields. then we have to show an ad-hoc report by taking above selected fields as dimensions and row no() of the table as a measure
If the user select another Filename (For Example Customer Table) then all the fields of Customer Fields should appear in the fields filter. Again User should have to select required fields among customer table then Ad-hoc report should generate with Row no() as measure
Pivot table dimensions should change based on the selections we are making in filename filter
Note: There is no common fields among the tables. if Employee Table have 30 fields and Customer Table may have 50 tables. Pivot table should be in dynamic dimension columns
is this requirement is possible? if it is can some please give me suggestions.
