Hi ,
I have KML file with two columns in it - area name and coordinates
Then I have xls file with patient information in it like
patient address with suburb and post code
My ultimate goal is to join these two files and check how many patients come from which area.
Can you please suggest how should I join a KML file and and XLS file in data load editor, in Qlik Desktop?
Thanks beforehand.
Kind Regards
Hi @Pragya
You need more information, a third table assigning postcodes to areas or suburbs to areas
Hope this helps,
Sorry I should have described more.
Kml file has area name and coordinates
I joined geographic file and population file to patient file so Patient file has - patient number, area code/post code for the area, area name, population of area, age group, ethnicity etc.
I loaded both files - KML file and excel file in data load editor. I want to join them on a column name which is same in both files.
Hi @Pragya
Would it be possible for you to share small sample of the two files involved? It is very hard to suggest any action when I do not have clarity with the columns-fields involved from each file.
Sorry,
