Inherit the value from sheet to sheet

I want to inherit the value when transitioning from one sheet to another. The item is retrieving data from a different DB, what should I do?

Can you provide more context? What do you mean when you say "inherit the value"? What value are you referring to? A field value? A selection? A variable? And when you say "The item is retrieving data from a different DB" what do you mean by "item"? And how exactly are things being complicated by data being retrieved from a different database in this case?

Not sure you are looking for this but try below steps

1.  create a new variable.

2. Enter a name for your variable and a default value. The default value can be any value that you want to use as the initial value of your variable.

To use the variable in another sheet, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the sheet where you want to use the variable.

2. Click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the screen.

3. Click on the "Add new sheet object" button.

4. Choose the type of sheet object that you want to create, such as a chart or a table.

5. Click on the "Add dimension" button.

6. Choose the "Variable" option.

7. Select the variable that you want to use.

8. Click on the "Save" button to create your sheet object.
