Hi guys, does anybody knows if inputfields are in the roadmap of qliksense? Maybe new release 3.0?
Regards, Marcel.
What do you mean with inputfields? Can you give an example?
You can always write your own. The API is already extensive...

Hi Marcel,
If you haven't known this extension yet, try it:
It provides an input box, slider and button input.

Hi Marcel,
no, haven't heard of InputFields (like in QlikView) beeing on a roadmap.

So, three answers here of people who don't know what InputFields mean in a Qlik context.
Why answering at all then? Just to collect points? This seems to me an increasing behavior.
C'mon guys let's keep this community a valuable place!
Thanks guys for your comments. What I need is a concept which was called inputfield in qlikview, where you can modify the value of a field inside a table. It's very useful when you don't want just simply a variable which modifies the dataset.
Regards, Marcel.
Hello Marcel, let me see if my colleague Chris clarsen23 can reply. I recall him creating something similar for Qlik Sense as an Extension, (modify value in a table) similar to, but not exactly to what our other community members have provided. At this point, no - this is not on the Roadmap, but you can submit this as an idea if you wish.
Please mark the appropriate replies as CORRECT / HELPFUL so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

Hi Marcel,
I am not aware of any existing extensions that replicate INPUTFIELD behavior in Qlik Sense. However, I've seen a very nice (commercially available) extension that allows similar functionality - users can enter data in Qlik Sense, and it is being stored in SQL Server. The extension is called Klikins, from the company called SenseBI.
Check it out here:

Thanks Oleg, we'll check it out!
