Is there a single click reload option in Sense?

Hi,

I'm looking to deploy a document to another user using Qlik Sense Desktop.  I am looking to ship fresh data to them, rather than a fresh QVF file.  I was then hoping there would be a button (like in QlikView) where a reload could be done without going into the load script.

Is this option available in Sense at all?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Hi

Does anybody know if this reload button (i.e. NFR issue number QLIK-20492) will appear in a future release of Qlik Sense?

Thanks

Hi,

There is an extension on Qlik Branch which allows you to add a reload

button to your apps. It's not pretty, but it works. You can of course then

modify the code of the extension to make it tidier, but that requires a bit

of HTML and javascript knowledge.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Steve

The Vizlib Advanced Text Object supports reload app functionality on click and you have lots of freedom on how to style the button:

Ooooh.  I've looked at the styling of the button, and like it very much (as I can emulate what I have done in QlikView much closer now), but I had missed the fact that Reload was an option on there.

Thanks for the heads up.

You had not missed it - we did not do a good enough job to advertise it!
