License Allocation for Qlik Sense Enterprise Core-Based Site or QAP

Within our application we are using a ticket based authentication for our users to access data and visualization from Qlik. we are planning to use core based licensing so that all application users can have access to analytics. When fetching the ticket if the user does not exit inside Qlik, it is normally created. How will license allocated for the user when we have core based licensing. Should there be any rule defined or by default all created user will have access token?

There are two throttles for user access:

1. Licensing
2. Access to content (via Security Rules)

With core-based models of Qlik Sense Enterprise Client Managed, there is no licensing component. If the user authenticates (or is anonymous), then they proceed to the next step.

So back to your question, there will be no licensing step but you will need to craft a set of security rules to grant access to the named or unnamed users.

Thanks @Levi_Turner  for quick response. Just to confirm , if the user has the ticket he will have access to all the apps if there is no security rules denying it?

Since we are planning embedded analytics, users should have access to all the apps, the restriction will be done with section access. So the userid created while first time login(via ticket) can be used in section accesss.

Security rules are additive, not subtractive.
Any access is always given, not denied.

Once a user has a ticket they will get access to all content specified in the security rule.
If there is no access granted through a rule they will not see the content

Section access will only help to reduce content within the app.
