Hi,
I have a table T1 containing the STATE name .
I have another table T2 which also has STATE names but they are mapped against Zone values.
I want all the states from T1 to be mapped against the zone values similarly .
Table 1 |
State |
California |
San Fransico |
New York |
Chicago |
Table 2 | |
State | Zone |
California | Zone 1 |
San Fransico | Zone 1 |
New York | Zone 4 |
Chicago | Zone 4 |
Florida | Zone 8 |
Dakota | Zone 3 |
This will automatically happen if you load the data using the Data Load Editor. Fields with same name will become associated and therefor related in the data model.
If you are loading through the Data Manager and you have Data profiling turned on, it may Qualify the common field names to allow you to decide the associations through the Associations view.
Hope this helps.
