Load Data Manager in Other Devices

Hi,

I created a Qlik Sense desktop qvf, using connections solely from Data Manager. I noticed that if I were to open the qvf on another laptop (using my account), the Data Manager will be empty hence I can't make edits to the data sources.

I will be changing out my hard disk on my work laptop soon, hence am wondering if I will then lose the access to edit the data sources on my existing qvf?

Or do I simply have to make sure that the file path location which stores the data sets is kept exactly the same?

C:\Users\myusername\Documents\Data

Hello,

Application can be used on any laptop, just provide path to existing data connection where file is saved in the data load editor.

Hey Akshada, thanks for the prompt response.

I'm not very familiar on the use of Data Load Editor, have only been using Data Manager to connect to local excel files so far. If I understand you correctly, I just have to ensure that the local excel files are saved in the exact same file path?
