Map visualization- not able to select dimension

Hi,

I have a table with 'city name' field. The app tables are loaded from script but I use synchronization and can see that Qlik is automatically identifying this field as a geo field. But when trying to use the map visualization no data is shown for the dimension (as in the image attached).

Your help on this is mostly appreciated

are you able to see the values of that field in a listbox for example ?

Hi,

Check if the field Location is created or not in the same table which consist City field.

Location field contain latitude and longitude points.

No it isn't. It just adding the geo data icon

maybe try to verify how your cities names are written.. ?
