Hello all,
I am an absolute beginner with Sense (my tasks have always been fcused on View until now).
My question is a newbie one, I guess: I have made a Mashup with Qlik Sense Desktop:
http://machinename:4848/extensions/test/test.html
It is reachable from the laoptop on which it was developed, but all attempts to connect to it from another machine in the same LAN (no firewall between them) are refused.
Is this the way it should work (I mean, unreachable until I publish it in a webpage under some kind of license), or is there something I am missing?
Many thanks in advance-
Well, you'll have to use your local browser on your local machine to do that if you don't have a Qlik Sense Enterprise installation at hand.
What you are missing is the Qlik Sense Desktop works only on the machine it's installed on. It's not a server. Perhaps you can trick it with proxies and whatnot, but your on your own there.
Many thanks Gysbert. It is not my intention to trick anything, just wanted to know how mashups can be used and check if they are useful for us.
