I have a published app. I made some changes to data load editor that includes new columns.
Of course, this published app doesn't have it, only the one I test and unpublished app have the new columns.
1. I arrive at two methods to get this new data in
-recreate every single sheet into new unpublished app, then publish it
2. find how to incorporate new columns into published app even though I can't open data load editor since it's published.
Is this the only way? Seems like a very big limitation on software if I have to recreate a lot of sheets and graphs, etc.
I search and there's no way to copy sheet from app to app...
u have option to override published APP
while publishing it will replace

Hi
You can duplicate the app and edit that to include the new columns.
Then publish the new app and select replace existing app
If I do that, it would get rid of the existing sheets within that published app right? There's like over 50 which I have to recreate or migrate over, which isn't possible.
basically all published sheets will be retrieved.
and when republishing it
All content in the base section is overwritten with the content from the duplicate when republishing. Content in the original app, such as private and community sheets and stories, are kept when you republish an app.
