Old data in excel with same names (syntethic issue)

Hello,

For a client of mine, we need to load in old data into an already well set up Qliksense application.

Problem is, the field names already exist as master items in the current structure.

So now when I load this in, there is an automatic synthetic key with all these fields under it.

is there a way around this?

If possibles, Can you share the screen shots of code and DM. it will help to understand easily.

Depends on what you want to use this old data for. If it's something the client wants to see in the app, but has no connection to the current data-model, you can use qualify *; to make the fieldnames unique.

concatenation was the answer.

Now both data sources are usable.
