One user is Inactive in Qlik Sense QMC

Dear Friends,

I have an issue with a user in Qlik Sense QMC that, he is inactive.

We have an AD connector, which pulls specific group of users and that works fine.

However there are two other users who are not part of the above AD filter and they are added to QMC by accessing Qlik Sense link and licence is allocated to them.

Out of those two users , one is able to access successfully. But another user is shown inactive and he couldnt access the hub.

Can you please help me on this issue?.

Thanks.

No, the Blocked flag should be NO. So that's not the problem. I guess the user cannot be authenticated since he (or she) doesn't exist in any configured user directory. That makes me wonder why the other user is active. Is there a local windows account or another user directory where that user is registered?

I think you have to ask your team who ever is managing AD groups to activate/re-instate that userID. Once that is done, you have to re-sync your users in QMC and should see "Inactive-NO".

Hope this helps.

Can you edit the user to unset the Blocked flag? See Editing users ‒ Qlik Sense for more information.

Thanks Gysbert.

Are you saying that, the Blocked status to be changed as "Yes"?

Currently the flag "Blocked" is "NO" and seems to be correct .

Thanks.

Hi Friends,

Thanks for your help on this.

I have amended the AD filter so that, the UDC pulls in the affected user and that worked fine.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Mohammed,

Sorry for the delay.

The AD Filter condition is changed so that the user is not excluded. The amendment is done to pull all the users in a group from AD.

Thanks.
