As far as I know, you can't do this from within Qlik Sense itself, though there may be an extension for this particular request. If you need to move a large number of objects based on some rule or another, consider using the Qlik API (I believe the specific object settings would be qTop and qLeft), but even then I think you can't set exact X and Y values, as I believe these will snap to the nearest grid position.

Thanks for your response but I really request to Qlik Community please add this feature as well for more accuracy and exact position.

You're welcome to post an "idea" in the appropriate section - https://community.qlik.com/t5/Ideas/idb-p/qlik-ideas .

I wouldn't hold my breath on this one, though. Precise positioning and responsiveness don't mix, pretty much by definition, so I'd be surprised if Qlik decided to add this.

Hi @MeeraAgrawal

It is known as Responsive Design or Responsive Behaviour, which is a QlikSense core feature; It is our first frustration when we start to work with Qlik coming from a Web Development background which in most cases takes an Static Design; I will include links to some articles about these design styles, now responding to your question, there is a way to tell Qlik Sense to use Static Design. I added some links on Responsive and Static Design before explaining how to use Static Design with QlikSense.

Note: I encourage you to stick with the default Responsive Behaviour

How to implement Static Design in QlikSense:

  1. With the Sheet properties on the right pane, scroll down until reaching: Sheet Size and Grid Spacing
  2. Change the Sheet Size to Custom (by default it is Responsive)
  3. Enter the Width and Height (in pixels) for your Static Canvas (the canvas on the center of the screen adjust to the new Width and Height)
  4. You should change the Grid Size as well, you should select Narrow allowing bigger control on the physical placement of the controls. No QlikSense will not allow you to define custom X, Y, width and height parameters, you can still place the controls driven by the grid, and adjust their width and height as usual.
  5. I tested with a Selector, TextBox and a Table, I was unable to place them outside the canvas, or make them wider than the canvas itself.
  6. I exit the edit mode once this test sheet was completed, the result was a sheet with the Height and Width I entered and the controls remained put when I stretch my Qlik Interface.
  7. If you reduce the User Interface size to become smaller to the Custom size, QlikSense reverse to Responsive behaviour.

Now the same steps with screenshots:

Hope this helps,
