Prediction Analysis in Qlik Sense

I'm trying to do some quarterly sales prediction based on previous sales information in qlik sense. Now I'm thinking of moving average, but I'm not sure if this method can be used for predicting future sales? Are there any resources regarding this?

you can try this extension https://github.com/mhamano/advanced-analytics-toolbox which is using R for calculations like for example predicting future behavior.

It really depends on your data which forecasting model will you use ( https://otexts.org/fpp2/  for refence)  if ARIMA, HoltWinters or others...
