Problem showing legends in alternative measure and dimension

Hello Everyone,

I am stuck in an issue in QlikSense. I have added an alternative dimension and 3 alternative measure.

Dimension:

Month

Alternative Dimension:

Quarter

Measure:

PY Monthly Sale

CY Monthly Sales

Monthly Forecasted Sales

Alternative Measure:

PY Quaterly Sales

CY Quaterly Sales

Quaterly Forecasted Sales

Now when i am switching from Month to Quarter on X-axis, i can see legends name are still same in both cases. Pls find the attached snapshot. How to correct this so that legends come as per selected dimension?

I think for is you are using Color by Dimension and the label would only take single Dimension at a time.

To get Both Months and Quarter, you'd need to make a drill down dimension and use that as Dimension by Color    

so when you select Month or quarter it would be drilling down by dimension and show both labels...

hope that would work for you.

Thanks for your suggestion but I guess you are telling about showing month

and quarter. But here my measure are not being shown s per dimension.

Whether I select month or quarter, legends are being shown of month only.

when you create a Drill down dimension for quarters and Months, it would automatically show you both legends.

A you re using alternative Dimension you may have to select it from Drop down to see other legend, this won't change for Alt dim.

Use Drill Dim for Quarter and Month and try.

Instead of choosing color by dimension. Keep it Auto and then check.

AFAIKN, according to your question and color as Auto, if you have 1 dimension & multiple measures then legends will be displayed for measures. that's y after changing month to Quarter your legends are not changing.

When you will have color by dimension in that case legends will be displayed according to Dimension Values

I have taken one alternative dimension as 'Quarter'. Also, apologies but i cannt copy app from my server to local due to some restrictions.
