Problem to save selection in Qlik Sense 3.1 -Default selection

I have got a problem with the qlik 3.1 update. All selections were lost.

I did the same procedure as before:

1- Making Selections

2- Edit some chart or table

3- Save

Then I close and re-open the app and I do not have the saved selections.

Somebody help me? Did someone happen to you?

Default selection doesnt work in 3.1 n later version as it used to work in previous versions.

Yes - happened here too.  I've offered a suggestion to the powers that be  (you should too) to allow for filtered results on open of an app Qlik Sense Enhancement Requests  and Qlik Sense improvements forum

My workaround so far has to bookmark my selections and apply the bookmark manually as soon as I open the app.  Gets me to where I want in a less than elegant solution.

As far as I am concerned, selections are saved when reloads are made because that's when the DoSave() method is applied.

To save pre-set selections, open two windows (one with the selections made and another with the edit script) and reload the app.

Hi Martin, Once I open the two windows (visual and script) I make the assertion in the visual window of the app and then what do I do in the script window? Thanks

Shraddha I tried this but did not save selections, when I re-open the application there are no default selections.

I do not see anything related to my question, I also see that they are outdated. My problem is with Qlik Sense Desktop 3.1
