Sure. It won't be precisely like EDX in QlikView, but you can trigger tasks outside of Qlik Sense itself and Qlik-Cli is an easy approach. If you have questions do read the Wiki for the project: https://github.com/ahaydon/Qlik-Cli/wiki It covers most of the basics.
