Qlik Sense 3.1.4 QMC - Page cannot displayed on Windows IE 11, windows server 2012

Hi guys,

i have installed Qlik Sense 3.1.4 QMC on windows server 2012. i tried to access with Windows IE 11 on window server 2012..

It prompt me "Page cannot be disiplayed".

i want to know . is it true that IE 11 on windows server 2012 cannot /not supported to open QLik Sense QMC?

Hello All,

I installed Qlik Sense on Server 2012 as well but couldn't start either QMC or the hub. I get the following error message:

Can someone please show me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks Alexander. I finally found how to turn off iis but now getting this message:

This site can’t be reached

refused to connect.

Try:

Checking the connection

Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Any pointers please?

Hi ,

I have read that .. and that makes me very confused about the supported browser requirements.

1) - i have stopped all the qilk services\

2) then uninstall the Qlik Sense from the Windows uninstall/remove/add program.

3) restart my server

4) re- install the qlik sense

5) successfully installation, restarted the server after that.

6) I can open qlik sense 3.1.3  QMC  and Sense Hub using Internet Explorer 11 on server 2012.

So. is can .... or cannot??

but y r u turning off the IIS???

i have actually installed IIS on the windows server 2012, to prove that the port 80 is working(listening port) on that server.

my QMC and Sense HUb are running , eventhough i have not disable/off the IIS.

Hello Jim,

Possibly another application is using the port but as Alexander suggested, it worked. I put the iis off, installed Qlik Sense, opened qmc, changed the port number from proxies and turned iis back on.

It's working now. Thanks.

I have another issue though; cannot seem to run qmc on another system even though I have a public IP address on it. I have created an anonymous login access rule and added the IP address and DNS to the virtual proxies.

Any pointers on this please?

for access QS from another hostname or another IP (GW forward ) you need add new ip or Host name to "host white list" in QMC - Virtual proxy -<Your virtual proxy> - Advanced
