Has anyone else had issues with the region mapping functionality in Qlik Sense 3.1?
I am currently trying to recognise country names through the Prepare data stage (which works and creates a new kml style geo column containing region shapes) and produce a simple map from the data (which does not work).
When I try to plot either the new geo column as a dimension on the map and use the original country name text column as names or the other way round, the RAM on my PC (16GB) is maxed and the app crashes. The file I am using is only 25mb uncompressed so this should not be an issue for my PC.
Has anyone else had this issue? I am trying to work out if it is local to my virtual PC/install or a wider issue. I have just installed the very latest Qlik Sense edition and the issue still persists.
A sample of the data I am using is attached. The country field I am trying to map is called CountryName.
