Qlik Sense Clear Selections

Hi All,

I'm new to Qlik Sense and facing some issues while clearing the selections.

Not able to clear the field unless i'm  using clear all option.

This is not happening to all the fields. Also i'm not able to see the lock option while selecting from a filter pane.

Qlik Sense Version 3.0 SR1

I have had this happen a few times also and just ignored it.  But it could be a bug that needs to be addressed.

I'm not able to remove the Group4 by clicking on the X. I need to do clear all selections

Sorry for the delay in response.

Try clear first the [Reportable Year], then clear [Group4]. Maybe this happens beacause Group4 is formed by the [Reportable Year]. Tell me what you get, if nothing changes, please send us a sample .qvf to analyse this issue

Hi, I had the same issue with version 3.0 SR2. I had several selections and can only clear them in the listbox itself or in the selection function. This appeared to be caused by a slow connection between the location of the qvf and the location of the Qlik Sense Desktop. Qlik Sense Desktop is on my local drive while the qvf is on a shared drive. I moved the qvf file to my desktop and opened it again. Now removing selections works perfectly fine.

In your future qvf document that you'll create, try not make it in a Shared Folder. Qlik Sense Desktop works great when you create your qvf documents in your own computer and only publish them in a Qlik Sense Server and then distribute to the user(s). If you need the file in a shared folder, create a bash file to copy each time you change something to the shared folder or copy manually the file to the shared folder to avoid this kind of problems
