Qlik_Sense_November_2018 Install Issues - PostgreSQL step fails

Hi Experts, 

Version trying to install: Qlik_Sense_November_2018

Install fails while setting up PostgreSQL 

 

Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: PostgreSQL. Product Version: 12.44.1. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: QlikTech International AB. Installation success or error status: 1603.

Please find attached log file.

Any help/Tips to overcome ?

check you admin rights and install with service account

I ran the setup.exe with administrative privileges.

in the image error was not clear ..give me ur environment

I found an issue, after digging more on WIX logs.

found below line

One or more of your shared persistence file share folders has not been configured correctly, or the service user does not have the appropriate access permissions.

After correcting the permission issue, product installed successfully

create shared folder and while installing it ask folder and choose that shared folder

Hi Nsetty,

I came across the same error you described.  I have 2 questions for you.

Where do I located WIX logs and what type of permission issue did you encounter?  Thank you!
