Qlik Sense Version Issue for Importing Apps: Desktop vs Enterprise

Hi All,

In my Office, we are using Qlik Sense Desktop June 2018 Version whereas Enterprise Edition is April 2018 Version.

Have several objects to accommodate on 1 Sheet (as per Business Requirement).

1. I first tried Enterprise Edition and had to use Grid Resizer Extension that resulted in Increasing Height of the Grid of the Sheet and hence the Font and Objects were looking big.

2. Then I tried in Desktop version where we have "Extend Sheet" Option available and then Imported on Hub. The objects are loosing its essence of fitting into the space.

Kindly suggest me the best possible solution to this problem.

Hi,

I too experienced this when i used map objects .Actually i have developed a map in Feb version desktop and then i imported that in April server version it was not working properly.The only solution is using same versions on both desktop and server.

Oh! Thanks for the reply but these Grid Resizing extensions are just not worth using as they are affecting the whole look and feel of my dashboard. Kindly suggest a good extension.

I would suggest to have same versions on both desktop or server

Dear Pradnya,

You can accommodate several objects in a sheet by using Climber Containers extension.

You can use one or more containers in a sheet on which based on chart title we can toggle between the charts.

Thanks I will try that as I have used it in my another Dashboard and it could save some space too.
