With Qlik Sense desktop, I can't open an application.
In the hub, I can open all applications except the one I want. When I click on it, I see circles/rounds as when oppening application but it stay at this step....
The size of the application is 4Mo.... and I tried with the versions 3.1.2 and 3.1.0
How can I open it ?

I have the same problem: Seemingly random app corruption, sometimes not even reloading data. The app will be corrupted after adding just a sheet or visualization and attempting to save.
I can tell it will get corrupted when the "Save" button stays enabled after pressing it.
Not a memory issue either; has happened with small and large apps.
I am on Qlik Sense Desktop 3.1 SR3.
Is it possible that you are doing data reloads at the same time you are modifying/saving your application? I've seen this issue only when it's happening.... Are you modifying published applications or allowing users to do so?

No. It has happened when attempting to save after adding just a couple of visualizations. No reload, and no other users. It's just me on my Qlik Sense Desktop.

In Qlik Sense Desktop 3.1 SR3 set AppRecoveryMode = 1 in settings.ini file, and try to reopen it.

Alexander, your solution is a lifesaver
For me, it solved two different issues:
Open without data did not work, but with AppRecoveryMode=1 in settings.ini I could open both files.I had to recreate the library connections and reload the data.
