Why you want extension (Bacause, Extensions are really not that good as per performance wise), Can't you build simple widget? If not, try this https://home.vizlib.com/

You can use Text&Image object to achieve it.

1. Create a Text&Image object

2. Insert an Image 

3. Select that image then choose the link button

4. Enter you website
