Check the chart properties, General --> Title.
either you can remove the '*' or if you want rename.
Hope it will help.
Foot note is if you want to say something about the chart in bottom of the chart. you can provide here

The footnote is auto appear. I am not sure what the meaning of the footnote.
If you want say about the chart in the bottom of the chart.
You can use Footnote. And this not auto appear. you can show/hide
The * means that there is information you should check on the footnote of you visualization.
I think it just lets you know that you are seeing all values (or at least 18k) currently. Try zooming in by scrolling on your visualization and it might disappear. If the number 18k changes, it could just be an information about how many values you can see at the moment.
