Questions about PosgreSQL DR/HA and installation

1. Can PostgreSQL be installed on Google Cloud SQL instance? It's not as clear on the documentation.

2. Is there documentation/recommendation for disaster recovery/high availability for PostgreSQL?

@allann I will attempt to address those questions:

1. Can PostgreSQL be installed on Google Cloud SQL instance?

So as stated in the documentation you linked we only offered instructions for setting up a standalone DB on Windows. A quick search indicates that Google Cloud SQL offers PostgreSQL as an option but you and your organization would be responsible for the database.

2. Is there documentation/recommendation for disaster recovery/high availability for PostgreSQL?

We do have instructions for database replication and failover though again these instructions assume a Windows deployment and there may need to be other steps or considerations taken for a cloud deployment of the database.

Additionally, if you are concerned with HA you may wish to read up on creating a failover node in Qlik Sense
