How to add lineal trend in Qlik sense

Hi Michael,

Could you please help . I want to display trend line in my QlikSense app but for some reason when i try to use your code it doesn't work.

Here is the code used:

linest_m(total aggr(if(sum(SalesDollars),sum(SalesDollars)),Year_Month),Year_Month)* 

only({1}Year_Month)+linest_b(total aggr(if(sum(SalesDollars),sum(SalesDollars)),Year_Month),Year_Month)

Year_Month is in this format 2014-2

I don't get any lines or point on my graph   when i try to use code above.

Hi Patrik,

​It would be good to see it soon. It's quite a tricky one to explain to

clients why it is not there. Particularly when they then see me trying to

craft a straight line in an expression - a horrible looking expression in a

tool that is supposed to be about simplicity.

As with Variables and KPI objects, I guess the best things come to those

who wait... I shall keep an eye out in the future releases.

On 2016-03-23 you wrote that the trendline is high on the roadmap.

Where is it now?
