Read the log files via script

Hello qlikers,

I found this article: https://support.qlik.com/articles/000041017 . You can find the log files for every application in the QMC.

I want to visualization the log files in Qlik Sense for specific applications. So my question is, how can I read the log files via script for particular applications?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

There is a specific application for logs (Log Monitor), it's not a default application so you need to import it from your QMC

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/June2019/Subsystems/Monitoring/Content/Sense_Monitoring/Introducti...

Location :
%ProgramData%\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps\

If you want to load a specific log manually from script, you can use the data connection ArchivedLogsFolder

For information, the logs are archived if one of this three conditions are met : Service Restart, the log reaches 8MB or every 12 hours
