Rolling months

Hi, 

Can anyone explain how the rolling months work for QlikView?

I have taken over a report that has a 6month rolling chart expression in the report. 
I ran it on the 8/8/22 and the chart showed the start date being 31/1/2022 until 1/8/22 
When i ran it again this morning on the 15/8/22 the chart showed the start date being 31/01/22 until 8/8/22. 

Each Monday the report is run it doesn't always drop that first week.

Going to need to send more details, what chart? how is it set up? what this the set analysis used?

Could be a main reasons for the described results.

Let's assume it's a 12-month rolling. This is a review of the last 12 months. Now, if it's August 2022, that's 12 months from today. The difference between 12 rolling months and coded years is that rolling months are constantly updated, so whenever the current month changes, the previous 12 months are displayed.
