Hello
I have an excel table that I exported from Microsoft SQl with the following column.
Column Name: Tests
Row- MRI BRAIN W/O & WITH CON
Row- EEG AWAKE & DROWSY W HV & STIM
However when I load this table into qlik sense:
I get the following fields under Tests column.
Column Name: Tests
Row- WITH CON
Row- STIM
basically the last word of the row, but what happened to the rest of the row and how do I ensure that it shows up.
Please help.
Can you post a small excel file that gives this kind of result when you try to load it in Qlik Sense?
Hi
The TESTS4QLIK is the file that is being exported from SQL
InQlikTest is the export of what QLIK shows me after I import TESTS4QLIK
Hope this helps,
Thank you,
Well, I don't know what you're doing exactly or which version of Qlik Sense you're using. But your excel file loads perfectly fine in Qlik Sense 3.1 over here. So, sorry, but no idea.
Hi,
With the given file i am able import and export from Qlik as well with full values.
Attached the sample app
I found what causing the issue.
In the column tests, there are several test that have a 'comma' in the row.
When Qlik imports the xlsx file it sees the comma as a separator. The reason why you and Lakshmikandh were able to load is because you did not have the full file with many other additional columns. I rearranged the column to be the last column in the table and it loaded perfectly.
Have you come across something like this before where a comma or the position of the column makes a difference in the way the data gets loaded?
If yes, is there a different solution.
thank you
