Setup Qlik Sense, installed AD, now can't login with root permissions

Hello all,

As above, we've got a prod env setup working fine, we decided to install a new dev env to test an upgrade of several versions.

We've deployed a new windows vps and installed Qlik Sense and been able to get the basics up without any issue.

I then, maybe stupidly, decided to install AD and make the server a domain controller to try and mimic at least the logging in with AD part for testing.

Long story short, now i've installed AD, I can login however the account doesn't have any permissions to view stuff in the QMC.

I guess i need to work out if I can login to the QMC without an AD profile?

Hello ,

As long you have access to the database you can restore root admin to specific users. Following the instructions in links below.

Perfect, thank helped massively!

For future referenced, I used the latest version of PGAdmin4 and it worked without issues.
