Good day, all!
based on below table I would like to show share of 1 customer on total volume/quater/year.
I know I need to take a scripting course but till then eager to progress still... Thanks for your kind support,
Florian
PS: I know there have been some good discussions around that topic already but I am not sure what and where to do with them, sincere apologies for duplications!
PPS: And by renewing the discussion someone might actually be able to earn some credits to progress in the system 🙂 Win-Win?
Hello Florian,
it make sense to compare quarters, but in two years?
So create a table, Customer, Year and Quarter as dimension
Create expression 1: sum(Revenue)
Create expression 2: sum(Revenue) / sum(total <Quarter, Year> Revenue)
Regards
This is possible to do just in the charts (you could pre calculate it in the load script, but you lose some flexibility in terms of the analysis you can subsequently do in the UI, and I would only recommend that approach for very specific performance tuning scenarios).
Take a look at this blog post for an example of the TOTAL qualifier - it should point you in the right direction:
Hello Florian,
each customer have one value, so what is the result you are looking for?

Hi Martin,
good question: I want to compare Q1 2016 & Q1 2017 in total market revenue AND the share of "my" of the total revenue.
In other words Quarter-growth comparison for total market and my share of that.
Does that make sense/explain?
Thanks for looking into this,
Florian
