I'm running QS Desktop version September 2017 Patch 1 and QS Cloud on Chrome on a Dell XPS 13 laptop running Windows 10 Home (version 1709, OS build 16299.192). In neither version do I get a tooltip when I hover over a data point on a chart. I also don't get the icon to expand the chart to full size unless I right click on the chart to expose options (like take snapshot, expand, analyze, etc). I'm only getting the tooltip if I click on a data point. Has anyone experienced this behavior? Thanks!
I have experienced it and I have a customer who has pointed it out. The fix for Chrome is:
1. Enter chrome://flags/ in the address bar.
2. Locate the "Touch Events API" setting and set to Disable. (Unless you are truly on a touch device).

Thanks, Rob.
I modified the Chrome settings as directed and now I'm getting the tooltips when I hover over a data point in Qlik Sense Cloud. My laptop does have a touch screen but as far as I can tell I'm still able to use it without loss of functionality (honestly I don't use the touch screen often).
Any ideas about Qlik Sense Desktop?
No idea. That fixed worked for me on Desktop.
Update Feb 4 It's no longer working for me on desktop.
