Unable to Add data to QlikSense Desktop

Hi, 

I'm currently running Desktop Version 12.36.1 and unable to add data in any way. When i go to data manager, i get an error message error occurred and connection lost, and a refresh button which leads to the same thing. and if i use the add data from the app itself, it gets stuck on initializing add data screen. Since this is desktop version, I'm not even working on Server or Cloud. I've tried reinstalling and repairing but nothing has helped.

Thanks but the issue is resolved. Just needed to install in the drive with admin privileges and it started working

Have you tried using the editor to load data in the app?

Or tried to open the app without data: in Personal work area -> right click on the app -> Open without data
