Unknown Error at loading

Hi Community

I encountered an issue on Qlik Sense Desktop :

Everytime I clic on "Load Data" I have an error message : Unknown error (see image)

in the output i have these messages displayed (sorry in french) :

14:51:03
Chargement de données démarré
14:51:03
Erreur inconnue
14:51:03
---
14:51:03
Les données n'ont pas été chargées. Corrigez l'erreur, puis recommencez l'opération de chargement.

I have the same behaviour for all the apps.
I even created one from scratch and had the same message.

What's strange is that the data loading works fine when use the debug mode to load.

Does someone know anything about this issue ?
Thanks

Hi Gilles

I am just replying to say that you are not alone. I have been trying to figure out what is going on for a few hours now (unfortunately my laptop was formatted over December and I only really started using Qlik again yesterday so it is difficult to pin point the issue). What I can tell you, however, is that it is not the anti-virus. I am installing an older version (from November 2019 to June 2019) to see if behaves the same way, although I don't think that this will solve the issue.

I will let you know if I find something, but maybe someone else on the community knows of a solution 😉.

Regards,

Mauritz

Update: In moved back to June 2019 and am not getting the errors anymore. Not a solution, but at least I can write and execute load scripts again.

Hi Gilles,

We have the same problem. When it happens, it concern just some users, not always everybody. The only way we've found to fix it is to stop all qliksense services on all nodes of the cluster and start again. Usually it's OK afeter. But it may come back , some days or weeks later ...  so if someone know how to fix it definitively or explain what may cause this, I'm very interrested in !

Thanks

hello

could it be a licensing issue? I have the same problem.

Digvijay_Singh

It troubled me for many months, I did remove and reinstall new versions as they come few times but it didn't solve until June 2020 version solved it. I guess the only way is to keep the machine cleaned(Remove old Qlik folders) and keep trying with new desktop versions.

My script editor was working in debug mode so I somehow continued my work, but I needed desktop for limited purpose so somehow debug script run could help me to keep going.

Thanks,
