When installing the newest Update of QlikSense we got stuck at the point "Upgrading Repository Database". Currenty the installer is running for about 3 hours and still hasnt got further.
Is this a common problem? I couldnt find any information regarding this topic.

Can you check if there is any installation log recorded follow by the below article?
The last Entry in the log "Qlik_Sense_February_2023_20230316190001_010_PostgreSQL" is:
Action 19:04:41 70 NoExistingDatabaseCheck: Checking if database 'QSMQ' exists using PostgreSQL dir 'C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\\Repository\PostgreSQL\9.6\bin\'.
And the last few rows in the log file "Qlik_Sense_update_20230316070302" say:

The Update is now running for 9 hours withour any progress. Still stuck at "Upgrading Repository Database"
Hi, how did you solve this problem @Slindheim?
To be honest: we just restarted the server and the problem was solved by itself...
After that we did follow the installationinstructions and everything worked fine.
Thanks! For info - In our case the upgrade actually managed to complete all steps after around 5 hours in state "upgrading repository database".
Same problem here. Solution: Reboot ✌
How you reboot the server? Did you force kill the installation program? (Since there is no cancel button in the installation window)
We just forced the server to restart. It worked the last time.
But from May2023P4 to Aug2023 it did not work and we had to restore a backup of the server.
So be careful!
@ManuelRühl please also check the Qlik Sense installation log before force restart the server.
