Update password ODBC connector

Hello all,

I created my first app, connected to a Microsft SQL server (test) via ODBC connector in Windows.

I have an app (connected to a Microsft SQL server (test) via ODBC connector in Windows) that I want to move to another PC.

How do i modify the  ODBC connector in QlikSense to update the password?

If i unlock it, then I have many problems on data loading, I don't want to do that.

Thank you very much,

Fabio

Create the ODBC connection in the second PC and give it the same name, then you should be fine

@jerifortune the server name and the password are different, only the DB name is the same (one is for test, the second one is for deploymnet) so even if the ODBC name is the same, it says "wrong credentials".

the server name and the password are different, only the DB name is the same (It doesn't matter if the server name and passwords are different. As far as you are creating the ODBC connection in a different server, you shouldn't have an issue. Please, check your credentials again. It is a practice I have used for many years and have not gotten any issue.
