User have bookmark publish rights on an app, but not another.

Hello,

For the context I'm using Qlik Sense November 2023 patch 2 (qlik sense server).

We were using a LEF license and recently switched to a signed license with Professionnal or Analyzer licenses 

We have a customer which is a multi company tenant. one one account he is able to publish his bookmarks on the app, but not on the other account : The "publish" option is not available when he right clicks the bookmark.

I have check about 10 posts in this forum but still cannot figure out why.

What i checked so far : 

- User access to the app itself 

- @UserType in the user submenu : Administrator

- Made an Audit of the app : the rules are the same

Hi, 

By default, only the owner of an AppObject, in this case a bookmark, can publish it. 
Since the user has two accounts, in the first one, he's probably the owner, but not on the second one. 

You can create a new Security Rule to alter this behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I don't think I explained the issue correctly, so I'll try to do it better :

Same person has 2 users : user A and user B. 

User A can create and publish bookmarks on App A.

User B can create but not publish bookmark on App B.

The have the same type of user and license in both streams / apps so i'm clueless on how to solve this..

No problem. 

Ok I've a better understand of the issue. 
The Stream where the App B is published allow the publication of App.Object ? Can you share the Security Rules associated to the Streams containing App A and App B please ?

Everything seem ok on it. Can you share all the Security Rules with the Publish action then ? Something should be missing. 

Can you share the Audit section for User B on App B for App.Object properties too ?

Oh my god, you made me find the solution by myself, even better ! 😁

I added specific users/usergroup in this publish rule and it worked. 

Both environment were setup before my arrival to the company and i'm still new to Qlik so didn't explore this to the fullest.
