Weather Data

Hi All, brand new user here...I am required to create a weather app for the UK. Is it possible to use data directly from the Met Office's API, or any other weather forecast providers? If so, how?

Hi Matthew,

You could try the Qlik REST Connector. In this connector you enter the API key and fill in the other parameters.

Hi Matthew -

in case still relevant - the Visual Crossing Weather Service allows encoding the API key (there is a free tier as well ) directly in the connection string  you can use REST GET or POST and ODATA .

there is a step by step  guide on our Blog site as well: https://www.visualcrossing.com/resources/documentation/weather-data-tutorials/how-to-load-weather-fo...

feel free to get in touch - Bjoern
