Hi all,
If having access to a service that returns up to 50 million locations (lat/long) and that allows to "subscribe" to the items you want to track changes on their location, what platform would you use to create a dashboard that monitor the position of the items in real time?
Qlik Sense works great analyzing the data historical, after aggregations. But this time I'm referring to a real time use case.
Thanks!
Juan
If you can accomplish a quick data refresh, and store the data into a incremental QVD you can accomplish a near real-time dashboard in Qlik Sense. GeoAnalytics capability would also be a great way to visualize the positions to users.
If you can get the data refresh down to a couple of minutes the dashboard could be seemingly real time for a consuming user.
Hi @ToniKautto , thanks for your input.
I have done that in the past, having incremental QVDs and a refresh rate of 2 minutes. However, now I'm looking for something that can update in seconds. @rwunderlich pointed me to "streaming dashboards" in this other thread:
Thanks,
Juan
