I think you're looking for the CreateAppObjectsPublishedApp security rule.

I think Create or Publish filter should be disabled for app or stream security...

Or you can create your own rule as mentioned above by disabling original rule and creating your own

‌I need to disable “create new app” button in work stream but published app should be disabled to edit, please suggest

To disable create app you'd want to disable CreateApp rule in QMC and Create exactly same rule with user role as content admin or root admin etc.

If you disable 'Edit' filter in your stream rule that should work but they can still duplicate the sheets but not edit the original sheet.

If you want to fully disable the edit sheet rule then you may end up creating a new rule which should disable them from editing.

It depends if you have individual users or a AD group.

Anyway

resource.objectType!="sheet"   will be your main resource filter to be used along with combination of user name or group or app etc...

It really depends on what you trying to do...

You want to disable this for all the apps or just 1 app etc...

For all the apps I guess it should be App_* and App.Object_* << Not sure but something similar.

Note: to work on rules makse sure you copy the original rules before disabling it so that if anything happens you can always revert back the changes.

Hi Shahbaz,

As Per your Suggestion i have created Separate CreateApp Rule.

But now the owner of the App is able to edit his own Published Apps, Any option to restrict for Owner Also?? or is it an expected Behavior?

Regards,

Poppy

Hi Gysbert,

CreateAppObjectsPublishedApp - this rule is to edit the App Objects like sheets, bookmarks etc.

but i want to disable Data Load Editor option in the HUB for Published Apps, currently with the default rule "Owner Update"  - Owner of the App is able to edit the Published App of his own.

Regards,

Poppy

It's not possible to open the data load editor of a published app. There's no security rule for this because it's not possible in the first place.

@Gysbert_Wassenaar I am pretty sure that is incorrect as I have seen it accidently enabled before.  I dont think it is a good idea to allow editing of a published app, but I do know it is possible - I have seen it.
