Why Join Data in Qlik while Association between tables can be used to derive deep insights

Qlik Associative Model provides a full outer join like operation.

If we "Join" the tables (Maybe inner) then the associative model is of no use.

So why even join data inside Qlik when associative model can do a better job of showing all data and providing deeper data insights
