Why do I have to re-load data when accessing a bookmark?

Hi all! I apologize if I'm overlooking something obvious here, but am struggling to find the "fix".

I've created an app with many sheets to analyze a particular business process in various ways. I thought I could simply use bookmarks to easily jump back and forth between my key analysis scenarios. Simply put, I wanted to use bookmarks to go to the correct sheet with the correct selections to view that data.

This all seems to work with one key issue - the data seems to revert back to a previous state whenever I access a bookmark.

I'm using the November 2019 release on Windows, and my process to refresh the data is this: I have about 5-6 CSV files that provide the data I use. I replace those CSVs with newer versions with updated data and then go into the QS App and load the data. This works fine and I can see my new, larger set of data just fine. However, when I use a bookmark to go to a particular "view" that I've configured, the data appears to revert to an older set of data from when I made the bookmark. I can then do a data load again to make it current, but that seems wrong and I'm obviously missing something.

As this is the default way I want bookmarks to work, is there a setting I can change to have bookmarks only apply selections and go to the designated sheet rather than also adjusting the data?

Thank you so much for any help!

Bookmarks won't reload data.

Sounds like you may have hard-coded a bookmark with a date, rather than using a dynamic bookmark. Check that your bookmark has a formula and not a fixed value.
