XML to QVD conversion issues

Hi Experts,

I have a query regarding the XML to QVD conversion. Time to time we load multiple XML files to qlik sense and convert those files to qvds. Sometimes when we load XML files some files don't get converted to qvds. Can anyone explain what could be the possible reasons for this issue.   In short What are the possible issues while converting XML files to QVDs.

Hi Rajvir,

It's hard to say what is going wrong. But some questions:

1. Is it failing? So yes, what does the log say?
2. If not failing, is there somehow a pattern?
   1. Think of certain days
   2. Think or certain nr of files

It could be that your script is not handling large number of files correctly. Can you share a log of when it doesn't convert everything and can you show the list of XMLs?
